Nevada Achievement School District (Nevada ASD):
The Nevada Achievement School District (Nevada ASD) is a unique school district in Nevada tasked with turning around Nevada’s persistently failing schools. In January 2015, the Nevada Department of Education identified 78 persistently failing schools in Nevada serving over 57,000 students. In the coming year, a few of these schools (no more than six) might be converted to management by the Nevada ASD. Our mission is critical: to provide better opportunities to these students as quickly as possible.
