Advancing children’s learning in a digital age.
Families Learning Across Boundaries
The Families Learning Across Boundaries (FamLAB) project will mobilize a community of caregivers, educators, technology developers, and investors dedicated to solve the bridging problem, with a particular focus on the roles that interactive and communication technologies can play in both strengthening the ecosystem and propelling children’s learning across its boundaries.
National STEM Video Game Challenge
Presented by the Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop and E-Line Media, with founding sponsor the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), the STEM Challenge was launched in 2010 as part of the White House’s “Educate to Innovate” campaign. The challenge was designed to motivate interest in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) among youth by harnessing their natural passion for playing video games and inspiring them to design games of their own.
